Christos Dimitrakakis has just completed an early demo of wreckage, an experimental version of a driving simulation which he hopes to make into excellent game if readers show their support.
It is a very early demo and after trying it out, I think it has the engine from which a racing sim can be made from, with various heights of landscape and terrain. The next release will include texture mapping, bottom-up simulation model, advanced AI CPU opponents, and GFX board support. I think the graphics really need a good overhaul for the next demo but I will look to see how Wreckage develops.
